Betony Vernon’s jewellery designs are made in 18Karat gold and sterling silver in limited series and one–of-a-kind editions by master goldsmiths in Italy.
The techniques used to create the collections vary from lost wax casting to forming from chisel work to fabrication. They are often embellished with precious or semiprecious stones, enamel, hand-painted porcelain, leather, feathers and glass elements that are handcrafted in Murano, Venice. Betony personally creates all of the prototypes for her creations in her atelier in Italy, which is located in an unexpectedly silent and isolated garden in the centre of Milan.
Betony’s collections are immune to trends and her highly individual style maintains a long-standing philosophy of quality through craftsmanship. The timelessness of her works renders them heirlooms for the future. Her artistic style is not only recognised in the fashion world but also in the ambient of contemporary art and design.
