Betony’s Classic collections date from 1986-2000. They are inspired by the artist’s passion for science, ecology, alchemy, world religion, art, literature, and design. 

They are all fruit of a profound goal:  to connect the wearer to the world and to their heritage spiritually, emotionally and physically.  Extensive research informs each collection and brings every jewel to take on a life of its own.

Betony’s designs often lead double lives that grow exponentially beyond what first meets the eye. They are known to spark curiosity and invite conversation while empowering the wearer with new forms of expression.

The Classic collections were distributed by the following retail venues: Barneys New York, Liberty, Jess James, and Selfridges in London; Fred Segal and The MoCA Store (Museum Of Contemporary Art) in Los Angeles; Biffi, Daad, Banner, Corso Como, and Onward Kashiyama in Milano; Printemps/Etage de Luxe and L’Eclaireur in Paris; Luisa Via Roma in Florence; Louis of Boston; Rhinehold Jewellers in Puerto Rico;Magnum, Dazzling, Hankiu, Via Bus Stop, Kashiyama, Isetan, and Le Poisson Blu in Japan; Cobra in Holland.
