Blending fine craftsmanship, design and sensual wellness to create a dimension where the art of living and loving reign supreme
BV Atelier
Since 1994
The BV Atelier was founded in Milan in 1994 by Betony Vernon and relocated to Paris in 2007. In 2024 the BV Headquarters opened in Umbria, Italy where all creative operations now take place. Alongside the ongoing production of BV signature designs, the BV Atelier consults for jewelry, product, furniture and interior design projects. With a focus on fine craftsmanship, we collaborate with a curated selection of Italian artisans to bring all BV Atelier designs to life.
"To produce in Italy is integral to our mission to protect and participate in the future of luxury. Our vision is to manifest the exquisite."
In 1995, Betony obtained a master’s degree in industrial design and design direction at Domus Academy, Milan. The futurist formation of the iconic institution continues to inform her innovative leadership skills and role as design director. Working with and forming younger generations is central to her ethos and to her team at the BV Atelier.
Alongside the direction of her own multifaceted, pioneering brand, Betony’s role in design direction has also fostered the evolution of brands like Fornasetti (1996-2012) and more recently the relaunch of Pianegonda Jewelry (2022-2024).
MADE IN ITALY
As makers, we strive for mastery in all of our creative endeavours. We privilege natural, noble materials that endure the test of time – from gold and silver, bronze and iron, precious and semiprecious stones to marble, terracotta, wood, blown glass and ceramics. The BV Atelier is actively involved in both the design and production processes. We create unique prototypes, one of a kind objects, limited editions and exclusive collections for discerning brands, collectors and private clients who seek the finest. “Made in Italy” has been the heartbeat of BV's creative productions for over 30 years. To produce in Italy is integral to our mission to protect and participate in the future of luxury through the creation of durable, handcrafted designs"
